Roaming aimless

Across the fields

I pick up half eaten seeds

From the woods

The berries dropped by the birds

And the feathers left behind

The flowers from the gardens

Touched by the tender bees

From the spring

I fill the water that caressed the earth

And quenched many souls

Pick up shells

From the endless beaches

Hear the echo of the sea

From the conch shell

I just picked up

The sand under my bare feet

Roots me to the mother

As i lay with countless souls

Under the bare sky

Do i pick up the brightest star too

For you

Yes, i do

And then, put all these in the kaleidoscope

That i hand over to you

That, i say

Is for you...

The bestest and the wildest and the precious ones

All to bring joy to you

The bees the birds the sea the woods

All will dance to bring the most exquisite performance for you

The sea would roar

The woods would sway

The water will dance

To a rythm only you will know

For all this, was always meant for you

All this, and some more

Pieces .....

Bark of a tree

A drying yet splendid leaf

The prettiest flower

The bllod red berry

The beads from a broken necklace

A shell sunk deep in the sand

A small pretty button from my childhood sweater....

Is all i have for you....

I hand them and go back again.

searching for more to bring glee to you....

How comforting is it

To hear you snore

Softly

As you lie by my side

A soul

Completely surrendered

To another

In peace and in love

To feel your arms

Your bare body

And soft murmur of your

Warm breath

By my neck

And to feel those lips

Even as your eyes are closed

And to caress the beautiful face

That lights up my world

Snuggling closer

I move closer to the chest

That is my armor

In peace and in love

❤️

 Handing me

His pair of socks

The only ones he had

In that winter chill

He said

Now, these will keep your feet warm

I said

No, they will keep my soul warm

🥰

How many times

Have i said

Confessed

I love you?

Do you remember?

Perhaps it sounds

Dull

Repetitive

Monotonous

A monolog too??

And yet,

I cant and have couldnt

Ever stopped myself from

Speaking in as many words

That I do

It was never a habit

Or compulsion

The words

Just flowed out from my soul

Echoed from my cells

Each time i would and still

Look at you

Through the depths and despair

Through love and ecstacy,

That is all the heart screamed out

That I love you

Because I always did

And do

 ...so yeah,

The countless narratives

The joy

The pain

The anger

The ecstacy

The anxiety

The excitement

The apathy

The longingness

Shared a million times

Over and over again

Yet, they share it

For rhe umpteenth time

And both cling to one another

Experiencing the stories

Like the first time

With a hint of curiosity

The eagerness

The desire to know each other

More

Deeper

Honest

Unreined

Unbridled

Never tired

Of visiting pages from each other's past

Even as they head to their future

Together

intoxicated and drunk

in love

and passion

they rolled over each other

telling sweet nothings and smiling

giggling as they caressed

the bare skin

intoxicated and drunk

in love

Tujhi se main tujh ki baat karti hun

Kya yeh hai ajeeb

Kyon main unhi purani rahon pe chalti hun

Kya yeh hai ajeeb

Un khamoshiyon me main wahi awaaz sunna chahti hun

Kya yeh hai ajeeb

Reh gai hun wahin purane pichle pannon mein

Kya yeh hai ajeeb!

Pebbles together

The most colourful ones

From the beach

Would make their abode

Colours, they knew

They would borrow from the wild

So vibrant that might put the rainbow to shame

Spirit so alive

The chirps and the hoots of the jungle

Would encopass within

Sweetest spiring to quench their thirst

The open starry sky would be their roof

Pointing to some galaxy somewhere

Up there

They would

Greet themselves in another world

Fingers entwined, lips locked

They would join in their love forever

Besides the sea shore,

With greens and the mangrooves leading to the wild

In what they call their home

 Afer decades

She heard him mention

To her

That endearing name

Meant just for her

And how she wished

He calls her back!
