They came
Walked few steps
Shared dreams
Laughed
Hoped
Lived
And then,
Left.
All of them,
One by one!
The beach now is just but few rocks
Barren lays the garden
And patchy is the path once taken!
With broken wings
That survived the rough weather
And her deamons
She dragged her frail self
Towards the thin branch
Hop she couldn't
Yet she tried
Everyone fell for her when she flew high,
And yet, they all abandoned when she could no more.
And then, came he
Who saw not the unflattering wings,
But her spirit
That still had some spunk
Fly she might never ever
Yet, he let her onto his finger
And took her home.
Creepers and vines she has
Now to climb on to,
That he grew all over
For her to feel alive.
I take thee with what you have,
And also what you don't,
Said he to her
As she chirped again.
