lost in thoughts

she felt a drop

skipped from the hold

it just flowed on her cheeks

dry and withered

it was some old memory 

that flashed

oh, that wnt happen again

all that is lost

and realised she not

that she was all soaked 

clothes ruined by loss

oh, those memories

are all she holds on to!

and continued her walk

let them all leave

all of them

for i cant leave 

i carry a burden

deep-seated in the soul

leave nothing for me

only memories

and i still live

to die another day!

 

If only disappearing was so easy
She would just vanish
Oh how much she wished
To become just invisible
So that she could scream
In silence
Without being questioned
Without judgement
Without justification
Oh how much she wished
Holding tears wasnt difficult at all
If only she could go invisible
But then she sat on a history
Tainted with yet another
Heart as heavy as hers
Or perhaps more
That left everyone agast
Clueless as to what went wrong, where, when
And that burden she has carried
Pass she not to those
Who hold on to her
In need or otherwise
Or those who cling to her
In hope
Oh cant she break it all
And go invisible
As white as marble
As the clouds
Who let the beight sunlight pierce through
As white as the ocean's foam
Let her crash against the shores
Oh please
Let her be
Leave her to her fate
Tired she is
And carry on she not
Must she?
