It is a gamble
Play he must

Gamble all the way
To losses and victories
But gamble he must

The highs and lows
Cant be savoured
So gamble he must

The joys and pains
He must cherish
So gamble he must

The ecstacy and dejection
Must he accept
So gamble he must

The love and rejection
Must come to him
So gamble he must

Days of spring in the air
And that of gloomy skies
He must face
So gamble he must

To feel the ocean underneath his feet
And to emrace the chilling breeze
Gamble he must

To find love
And to nourish their child
Gamble he must

Life - the roller coaster
He must ride
So gamble he must

Life is a gamble
Gamble he must

A free fall
From the branch

Tiny and tender
I lay on the stone
Left to wrinkle
Waiting to die

You pass by
God sent
Lift me up
Tenderly
Not to scar
Any further

Still anxious
On your palm
I feel a trickle
Purifying my soul
You soothe the pain

Besides your pillow
Feeling blissed
I no more woe
As you cherish
What was once me

An illusion it was
Showed a perfect us

Soaked in love
Like a pair of dove
Lips sealed
All scars healed
Out of breath
Swearing togetherness
Eternal bliss
Nothing was amiss

Was it you
Who then out of the blue
Shattered the mirror
Making it clear
An illusion it indeed was

Scattered all over
I see myself
A thousand pieces
Impossible to trace
The love that I thought
Found us together
An illusion it indeed was
