Why do i dare
Without fear
I show my true self
To him
Because "You Do"
Whispers my heart
He aint there to judge
Only to love
And I move closer
To see the true love
That he has to offer
For now and forever
When she was not at her best,
He held her
Bringing her closer
All he said
Was she is still the best
She wore no make up
Her lips were pale
Only a faint hint of the lipstick
From last night
Her eyes were swollen
Undereyes had a patch of kohl
Agin from last evening
She did not smell of the fragrance
She wore
She had just her aroma
And yet when she woke up
She saw him staring at him
Love locked as ever
As he said goid morning

She sees him smile
But cant feel those lips
He sees the twinkle in her eyes
But cant feel those eyes
She sees him move his fingers through the lovely locks
But cant slide her's between those
He sees her dance to a song
But cant pull her any closer
The two in love
Can still see and feel inside
Hear their hearts beating together
Miles are tough
But tougher is their bond
He had said
She heard him say again
And kissed those lips
She felt again

I love you
He said
And stumbled

Added..
You make me weak
Soak me yet suck me dry
Your love, he said

Weak in knees
I thought

Wrong was I
Shrouded with tears
I saw him
Walk up and away
I thought you were always in love
And would continue to be in it
Until I fell in the same love
And withered your's!

She saw darkness
No, she felt it
Thought it were the shadows of the night
That had crept inside her soul
But it was not
Thought her eyes were closed
And the world beneath and beyond those eyelids had turned grave
But no, her eyes were open
Moist and ruined,
Pale, it was staring into an abyss
That she was falling into
Sucked by its hollowness
Nothing to grasp on to
Noone to hear her whimpers
She chose to shut her eyes one last time and fall

She tried a new perfume
"Tantalising!" He said
She wore it more. Often

Yet, when she sat alone
Her hands picked up the bottle
That smelt of their love

They told me not to love
I didnt listen
Today he told me
Not to love!

Monday, August 5, 2019

It seemed they called it a day
Yet as she felt her wet pillowcase
He called
Said give me a glinpse
She found him
At the same spot
Where they confessed
Their love once
So ran she
As fast as she could
To meet her man
Who stood with open arms
The two had their differences
She walked away
Hoping he would stand their
Hoping stopping her
From the mirror
She did see him
His back towards her

She would walk up to the house
Daily
The house that was once a home
That loved her and nurtured her
Now lay in ruins
In shambles it shared back
The red walls
The concrete floor where they all ran around
Giggles and laughter echoed once
Eerie silence greeted her
Tears flowed from her eyes
Transfixed, she kept looking
Wondering could she go back inside
And turn back the time

Seeing her tears
He said
You donot have to cry my dear
This is like a bouncer
You may not score here
But you wouldnot get out either
There will be many bouncers
You just have to keep playing....

I dnt do well in maths.
But this is a life.
Not mathematics.
You do fit into my chaotic puzzle but not as a symmetric piece
I am asymetrical. And so are you.
So two asymmetries makes me complete.

How i wish
That it rains once again
So i could get drenched
With you by my side

How i long
To wade through
The cold water
Barefoot
Brushing your feet
Hand in hand
As you get drenched
With me by your side

Oh how much i wish
I do
I seriously do

She looked at the clouds
Dense and dark
Finally, she could cry
Without anybody noticing
Aint it an irony
The day she proposed him
He had his back to her!

You, my love
Are the only twig
I found in the muck
That came with the floods
And ruined my world
Now
I hold on to you
To swim ashore
To a fresh start
New horizons

They were given a potion each
Of life
A mix of joy and pain
Everyone was more than keen
To share theirs' -- the pain part
And she took it all
Then she opened her's
Joy she saw none
Yet she hoped
Someone to share her potion with
None came
She waited
Then drank her's
All to herself
Smiled
A tear trickled down
Her now frail face
She told the world
She was keen to feed them
The chirpy little ones
Inside
She desired
To catch the glimpse
Of the tiny mynah
That was her new visitor
A reincarnation of the one she had
Loved and lost

So calm
Eerie
Like the boat hole
It will soon engulf
Everything
She had

He was the summer bloom
However parched the earth would get
He would bud
Delighting her
Amid her worn out garden
The lavender bloom
Just one bloom
Would make her smile
But then
He stopped blooming
Said it is too hot
Cant do it anylonger
She, for her part
Caressed it
And coaxed it
With tears spilling
Over to the lavender
He said
That's not enough
I need rains
And drenched she did
With her heart
Only to see
The lavender bud again

She would get lost
Mesmerised
And fall in love
All over again
Whenever she would see him
Holding the pencil
As if it were a soul
He was embracing
Through the fine lines
He would make with the black lead
His eyes would be glued
Transfixed to the slender sharp lead
And the white paper
Which would in no time
Transform into a masterpiece of his
The chemistry he has with the pencil
Is unparallel, she would tell herself
Yet
He would leave his masterpieces unfinished
She knew why
It was unsaid
The promise that he would get back
Next day
For the final strokes
And end the masterpiece for a new one

Caressing the yellows by the roadside
Hands entwined
They walked towards the lake
Cold water splashing
On their barefeet
They looked into each other's eyes
And swam across the other end
Biding adieu to the fishes and turtles
And a tiny butterfly balancing on a grassblade
They galloped into the wilds
