He held me as I tripped
On rocky edges

Plucked a yellow flower
From the wilderness

Oblivious as I was
He put it in my hair

Snugging closer
Whispered in my ears

Said you are my love
Not in this life alone

But for eternity
Withers the flower or not
I will be yours
Forever

With me weak at the knees
He lifted me up
With a nimble feet
Pulled me closer

Planted a kiss
Even as I disbelieved
I too was in love

Eyes closed

I surrendered
To soak in love
That hid in our closets

The clouds thundered
Said you two are blessed

Intoxicated
The two of us
Got drenched
As it rained
That day

When we found love

We cared less
As the world stared

Ecstatic
We tell them
We are blessed

We just tasted
The potion of love
As it rained
That day
