Chirping like a sparrow
She perches atop the barrow
Sings a song
To welcome the dawn
Feeds on gains
Lying strewn after the rains
Fluttering her wings
She readies to sing
The love song
That she chirped with him
When they flapped their feathers
And braved odd weathers
To fly miles together
Missing her mate
She now frets
Musters all her might
And readies for a flight
To brave odd weathers
To cross those isles
Back to her mate
Who she knows
Is her soulmate
